A variation of Mike Cannons deck previously posted on http://www.gatheringmagic.com/mikecannon-012714-gg-2-jarads-revenge/
I made a few changes to the main board after testing the deck extensively. Also I added a sideboard which his deck tech didn't cover.
I removed the Manaweft Sliver because it was just unnecessary almost all of the time. On turn two you are almost always filling the graveyard with 1 of 15 cards in the deck (Grisly Salvage, Satyr Wayfinder, Commune with the Gods, and Drown in Filth).
Satyr Wayfinder has been amazing. He smooths out draws and fills the graveyard while also being a body for chump blocking or for slapping a Nighthowler on.
Nighthowler does work. Its a late game bomb that turns mana dorks or Shadowborn Demon into 10/10's or bigger. Bestow is great for dodging removal especially when you slap it on a mana dock, because the result is a creature just as big as it would have been if they did nothing.
Nemesis of Mortals gets crazy. Cast a 5/5 for 2 mana then next turn turn him into a 10/10 for 2 more mana? Yes please. Whats that? You want to destroy him in response? I will just tap this Scourge of Skola Vale and give him 5 +1/+1 counters. These creatures create a lot of problems for your opponent to deal with. Because its an unfamiliar deck even good players make mistakes against it.
Of course Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord is good. He gives you reach, and with a 10/10 on the board that is a lot of reach. If you have one in the graveyard and not enough creatures in had, just sac some lands to bring him back. The recursion isnt great but its definitely relevant in the late game.
FOR THE RECORD: I have play tested against Mono Blue, Mono Black, GR Monsters and UW Control as well as a number of other common decks in the meta. This deck has fared quite well against them. THE DECK IS WEAK AGAINST GRAVEYARD HATE. That being said nobody is playing graveyard hate right now. I think this deck or a variation similar is poised to take down a major tournament.
