Casual -1/-1 counter Golgari Standard deck.

After having had some fun and success with Hapatra decks in Limited I wanted to see what this lady could do in a constructed setting. Most the decks I've seen run her in a conjunction with a cycling theme with Archfiend of Ifnir and Ruthless Sniper, but I wanted to play a deck with a larger focus on going wide and big.

Concept:

-1/-1 Token Triggers:

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs are the back bone of the deck. Making with every card except Nest of Scarabs and Fatal Push making counters in some way, the board can go wide quickly. The deck runs four Hapatra because she is an easy target for removal, and if you have more than one on your hand or the battlefield you can use her as a target for your own -1/-1 counters.

-1/-1 Sinks:

These creatures are there to be targets for when creatures force me to place -1/-1 counters on my own creatures. Festering Mummy and Soulstinger provide removal/triggers when they die, and Channeler Initiate is useful as ramp as well as being able to remove counters from herself. Obelisk Spider 's drain triggers as you sink it and can be hit by the bombs of the deck twice before dying.

-1/-1 Makers:

These creatures are the bombs of the deck all of them coming out with a lot of power compared to their CMC. Exemplar of Strength and Plague Belcher come out looking for sinks, while Ammit Eternal making -1/-1 counters and having a way of removing them can be a bomb and a sink, and is great at proving triggers.
