This is my Budget Greek Gruul Monsters deck. It is standard legal post rotation, and the majority of cards cost $1 or less, excluding the R/G scrylands.

This deck attempts to get a 5 or 6 drop bulky creature out on turn 3 (with haste) by dropping a Mystic on turn one, dropping a Servant on turn two, then tapping and sacking for 5-6 mana. Flame-Wreathed Phoenix and Boon Satyr are included for alternate ways of applying pressure, usually on turn 2 or 3, if the planned 5/6 drop doesn't happen. Flame-Wreathed Phoenix also is resilient to death, as it re-births if tribute was not paid, and players without a way of dealing with flyers are wary of paying tribute, making it a 5/5 (and if i'm wrong about that, then it is a consistent 5/5 flyer). to Boon Satyr is also versatile as a Pump Enchantment using Bestow. Messenger's Speed and Rouse the mob are options for giving creatures trample, since a 8/8 or 16/16 Hero's Bane isn't scary if it never gets through the red zone. Act on Impulse is a Pseudo-Draw card, which can help fuel the deck when your hand is running dry, or when you need to dig for a trample spell.
