Hello everyone !
Maybe 15 or more years ago, I was playing a deck with Quicksilver Amulet + Elvish Piper. Today, I want to play it again with an update of 15 years :) I'm sure I can do something pretty cool, if you help me a little of course.
I've chosen Elvish Mystic and Search for Tomorrow as "mana ramp" in order to play like this :
Ideal start hand is : 3 forest, Elvish Piper, Elvish Mystic or Search for Tomorrow, Lightning Greaves, Worldspine Wurm.
Turn 1 : forest + Elvish Mystic or Search for Tomorrow
Turn 2 : forest + Lightning Greaves
Turn 3 : forest + Elvish Piper and put Lightning Greaves on it
Turn 4 : Worldspine Wurm put Lightning Greaves on it and attack.
If the party goes wrong or drags Hunter's Insight to replenish hand. As I need more than 4 big creatures, I added Platinum Angel and Elderscale Wurm, they can save buttocks against fast decks. Or win a game with -263 life.
Clear Shot can be usefull against deathtouch or some strange creatures who are blocking the game.
About sideboard :
I added Fog which can still be useful. And Withstand Death in case opponents play full removal like Damnation, Fumigate ... As Vines of Vastwood and Back to Nature, adapting them according opponents. Momentous Fall is a top combo with Worldspine Wurm but usually, Hunter's Insight has a better return.
