Inspired by Selvala Brostorm, but it has diverged since then.

Wow! I'm back on this deck! Some of the changes have been made to make the deck more redundant and a bit more likely to explode. Mobilize as a worse Vitalize and Exploration are obvious here, but Ancient Stirrings requires more explanation. The colorless cards in this deck are very important, and between them and the lands, you have over 40 targets. You have (roughly) a two-third's chance of finding something you want, while your chances of totally flopping are less than one-in-twenty. Just remember that this isn't a turn-one play like it is in many of its Modern homes, or like some blue cantrips are in cEDH. Don't keep a hand hoping Stirrings hits; Stirrings is there so you can dig deeper on your combo turn at a low cost. Adventurous Impulse , in contrast, is awful: You only see 3 cards and you can't get Cloudstone Curio or Staff of Domination or Paradox Engine off of it.

The fetches were also added to make your Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top better, but if you're seeing a lot of Blood Moon or its like, feel free to go right back off them.

The weird addition is Grothama, All-Devouring . He's 10 power at 5 CMC, which is something this deck is OK with, if a little slow. However, note that he gives all creatures the ability to fight him. So he's potentially a way to go infinite if you need it, and he can also eat a bunch of creatures and draw you more cards than Soul's Majesty will. The greater set-up vs Majesty is real, but Grothama serves two purposes, as well as having a higher ceiling. This deck folds to heavy interaction, so I've learned to just err on the side of going big.

OK, so this is my first major update to the list as I uploaded it originally. The major change here has come through testing, which was trimming down the land count as drops after the second or third are often unimportant, and running stuff like Chrome Mox & Helm of Awakening to give more gas. Draw spells like Glimpse of Nature and Harmonize have proven to be great in the deck, and Sensei's Divining Top came in because of the favorable interaction with Vizier of the Menagerie as well as being a cheap and non-color intensive way of getting instant value. It's better than Sylvan Library because it immediately provides its value, whereas the Library is worse than dead when you're trying to combo off.

Uncage the Menagerie is provisionally in; casting it at 2, 3, 4, and 6 can provide interesting options. I think the card will come out, but it's interesting enough.
