Previous versions of this deck scored as high as 3rd at the local FNM, and defeated the reigning champion (he plays Esper) with two instances of successful mill for game.

During the summer leading into Core M14 I had picked up standard play with the Dimir Dementia intro pack with a bud. We played around with it plenty, and through testing and tinkering with cards we'd obtained, I made a mill-and-counterspell out of what was in front of me, and was surprised at how well the control game worked until finally bumping with Bowser525 and being continually trounced by his then-standard-able Jund Scavenger deck.

This most recent iteration includes a few strategies that simply, and slowly, grind the opponent's library down, as long as it can keep the pace against opposing creatures and hit its stride in mana. I'm still testing and tweaking to be sure this is possible!
