I'm just thinking - the 'blade' cycle of creatures feed on each other and the borderposts, and keeping the costs low allows for less land. In order to keep your hand full, I tried to slot in several draw-aids - Mulldrifter, the mask, the helm, the Dusk Urchins, Sign in Blood, etc.

I'm thinking mulligan until you've got a swamp, a borderpost, and a 'blade' creature, ideally.
