This is my first attempt at a Standard Control Deck.

The main objective is to outlast aggro decks with fast spells like Duress, Cyclonic Rift, and the Far half of Far / Away.

Then in mid to late game either mill them out with Mind Grind, Breaking from Breaking / Entering, Consuming Aberration, or Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker. Reap Intellect is huge for taking away up to 16 of their most important cards to protect myself.

Could also steal a nice fatty from them with the Entering half of Breaking / Entering and with my creatures, attack them until they're done.

Deathrite Shaman is a great utility card to gain back life from my shocklands, mana ramp, or deal damage.
