For many moons, I have wanted to play Krenko, Mob Boss and Intruder Alarm together in Modern. I have played almost every variation of Goblins in every format, but never have I gone infinite with the little buggers (except in EDH I guess). I've done infinite elves with Intruder Alarm, but that feels like I'm betraying my tribe.

After a drunken New Year celebration with my playgroup, we decided a Grixis control-y shell would be the best place to start with this deck. It's definitely in its infancy stages because I have no idea what I'm doing. Lighting Mauler is there to give Krenko, Mob Boss haste, and Warren Instigators to try to get him out early. The rest of the deck is designed to protect and draw into the combo.

What do you think? Does it need Snapcaster Mages?
