Creature (4)

Instant (4)

Hello. Here is my take on reanimator. I went with Grixis over Jund because of two key cards:

- Pieces of the Puzzle (this card and Ever After are the cornerstones of this deck)
- Sphinx of the Final Word (go ahead, read the card again. This basically bricks control and tempo decks)

This deck does the things that I like to do the most, mainly: draw cards, board wipe the opp, and "cast" big fatties on a discount. A turn 6 Dragonlord Atarka + Dragonlord Kolaghan off of an Ever After is not uncommon (hasty 14 in the air to your face, while also dealing 5 damage to your creatures and/or planeswalkers).

This also features a transformational sideboard (transforming into the "traditional" midrange/value grixis plan featuring some game-ending creatures and removal for specific threats).

Round 1 vs. Naya Homebrew (2-0):
Nothing really to note, wasn't very competitive. He had Omnath and Archangel Avacyn, they did not even come in to play.

Round 2 vs. B/R Madness (2-0):
He got me down to low life totals both games but Thunderbreak, Drana, and Olivia are just outclassed by my bigger flyers.

Round 3 vs. Mono White Humans (1-2):
Very close games. I lost first game due to mana screw. During the third game, I sat with a Dragonlord Atarka in hand with no way of casting it as he suicided his team into my Dragonlord Kolaghan & Sphinx of the Final Word, slowly chipping me away with his little army of humans. Lessoned learned, I added a Forest into the deck to prevent this problem in the future.
