Grixis slow-cook mill

Standard Control Mill UBR (Grixis)

Gajzla

Sideboard

This deck is based on the "Perfection of Milling" deck by ducttapedeckbox.

For my side of deck construction I had an Izzet deck that though good, putting out lethal unblockable damage on turn 5, was far to weak vs control and with out the combos in place was quick to run out of steam.

The idea here is that I mill in a controlled environment, the downside of not having white in this deck is that it closes the door on the best board wipes in the game; but I hope that it won't present to much of a problem.

I think i will need more land, I tend to run my decks at 62 cards more out of force of habit than anything else.

Would really love some advice.

Updates Add

Went to FNM tonight, it went ok for my first time playing a control deck. Went 1W/1D/2L.

Some of the things I've learned is how much Agro can hurt, that's why I have side boarded Lifebane Zombie who is cheep at 3 mana and allows me to see my opponents hand and discard one of the creatures I might otherwise have had to counter. I have also added Notion Thief as a flashed in blocker and as a way to troll people with Spinx's revelation.

I have added Liliana of the Dark Realms she is mana fixing and removal and if shes alive long enough makes Mind Grind and Rakdos's Return really powerful.

Lastly of the big updates I have added Master of Cruelties Hes a win condition by himself and offers some godly blocking.

Thanks for reading.
