GROND, the Gatebreaker EDH

This is an attempt to rectify the WotC mistake of Grond, the Gatebreaker not being a normally usable Commander in EDH. This was built with a bit of a budget in mind and is not the most competitively built, so things like Poison and Infect were left off the table.

Building around a commander that wants to hit people and isn't a creature when it isn't your turn is difficult. Typical voltron tactics falter. Equipments fall off, enchantments fall off, its a troublesome thing. Being able to Crew it by having any Army is great. Being a Vehicle on opponents turns means its usually fine vs sorcery-speed creature wipes. This deck runs a lot of ramp effects (Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, Caged Sun) in the understanding that reattaching equipment to Grond will need to happen. Proper maintenance on your siege engines and all that. Or maybe Grond gets Scrapped by any number of artifact hate effects, you can use the excessive mana to recast Grond and put the fear back into your opponents.

Other ideas have included making this deck into a mono-black vehicles strategy, in a Mad Max: Fury Road kind of way. Get those other creatures crewing something!

Current build can definitely run into too much mana and nothing to play, or fizzle with a lack of Army to get Grond going. Eh. Every deck can falter. Willing to hear feedback.
