Kiln Fiend + Ground Rift is a grossly powerful combo that hasn't gotten the attention it deserves.

While Voltaic Brawler and Talara's Battalion don't have as much explosiveness as Kiln Fiend, they both have Trample and provide much needed consistency to the deck.

Blossoming Defense and Vines of Vastwood provide protection from removal, and are both necessary as control is one of this deck's biggest weaknesses.

The pump-up package needs some tweaking, but at the moment we have Groundswell and Giant Growth for pure pump up, as well as Assault Strobe and Temur Battle Rage to top off the damage. Note that Temur Battle Rage gives Kiln Fiend Trample, which is great for getting damage through if you are missing Ground Rift.
