My very first EDH deck that I built from scratch. I liked the look of Mr Thar and had a lot of cards lying around. It is great on 1v1 games and has repeatedly annihilated much costlier decks. Gruul ragebeast and champion of rhonas are the prized beast and jackal respectively. The aim is to kill fast and hard. Trailblazer's boots are GREAT for Ruric and quicksilver amulet is just right for this deck. Overall, lots of fun playing it. I am very stingy when I build my manabase so I usually start on a mulligan, but, I play casual so who cares really. Good fun deck, happy I made it.
