I am new to pauper and this deck will be my first. I wanted to incorporate a combo that I've held onto for a while--it was meant for a modern gruul eldrazi deck just before the release of the first modern horizons set--that involves Blisterpod and Infernal Plunge, creating 5 mana on turn 2 essentially. I thought it was neat that both were pauper legal, so I thought I could give this format a try (also because pauper is wallet friendly and whenever I finally manage to afford my modern deck the format warps and my deck is outdated--RIP!!).

I did a bit of deck list searching for reference and I used the gruul cascade (post MH3) archetype as inspiration as the title of this page suggests; I wasn't really sure of what deck to make while including the combo, but this seemed to fit pretty well. I am currently running 3 blisterpods and 4 plunges to make the chances of cascading into a blisterpod slimmer and because Eldrazi Repurposer pairs just as well with infernal plunge. Also, interestingly enough, sacrificing a non-token eldrazi through plunge synergizes with Writhing Chrysalis.

Do you think the "blister-plunge" is effective in this deck, or would it be better to put it in something like a glee combo deck? Is there a better way of utilizing the combo in another archetype? Let me know. Feedback is greatly appreciated because I don't know much about pauper and the meta in general.
