This is my deck for Ye Olde Deckbuilding Challenge #16 - Modern Splash. It's more or less a fun deck and I expect it to fail hard, but who cares. At least I hope that doinitwrong will have fun playing it.

Modern cards are: 4x Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, 4x Misthollow Griffin , 2x Venser, Shaper Savant, 2x Beck / Call (total: 12).

Basic premise:
Control the game and draw cards until you get the key pieces. Then use the Food Chain + Misthollow Griffin combo to generate whatever amount of mana needed to cast Emrakul, the Aeons Torn which should conclude the game.

Notable interactions:
Misthollow Griffin is an ideal fodder for Force of Will.
Beck / Call with Food Chain and Misthollow Griffin equals draw as many cards as you want this turn.
