v1 (4/14/2018): My first personal brew with competitive viability. I don't think it is a stretch to claim that I am the player with the most time spent building Modern Allies (July 2015). This deck excels at crushing other tribal decks, while also snuffing out damage-based decks such as Burn. The synergistic nature of the creatures and the unique global effects make this deck a threat to any archetype aside from combo. Unfortunately, four years of playing this deck has made it a tad repetitive for me. I am hoping to see it gain a boost from a new set before piloting it again. As it stands, Humans continue to receive new boosts with each set, and are slowly but surely eclipsing the niche this deck had originally carved for itself.
