The idea behind this particular deck is to win by killing your creatures. This is a particularly fun deck to play with against friends while still being tournament material. Also it is designed to be impervious to being mana screwed.

How it Works

.Your opening hand should consist of 2-3 Swamps or other mana producing cards. This is to guarantee you can play all the cards necessary to claim victory. For spells you should have two of the low cost creatures like the Perilous Myr, Blood Artist, or the Deathgreeter. then in addition to these you should have a Phyrexian Soulgorger.

Turn one drop a land, preferably a land that enters the battlefield tapped if it was in your hand. If not drop the DeathgreeterThen on turn two play a Blood Artist, or the Perilous MyrNext on turn three is where the fun begin. If possible drop a creature that has an ability that states if it dies it deals damage to a player. On turn four play a Phyrexian Soulgorger or Contamination if you think you can sustain the effect long enough to last three or more turns, but be prepared if you are in a group game with people who are not running black because when Contamination leaves the field you will become a hate magnet for the remainder of the game. Turn five drop a land and a creature, preferably a Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker. If that cant be done play a Blistergrub.From turn six and out continue to play more creatures that die to feed the Phyrexian Soulgorger, or Contamination.
