This teneb deck aims to be a midrange fair deck, winning the game trough a game of atrition. Abzan are the perfect collors for a toolbox type deck, It can recur threaths, has removal for almost any threat, can tutor for the right answers aswell as keep my hand filled up. The goal of this deck is to grind out the game and get far enough ahead of oponents to close out the game through combat damage or recurring Kokusho, the Evening Star a couple of times. I like to think of this deck as a fair deck, though opinions on this deck being fair may differ ;) This deck is a casual deck, meaning that I'm not looking to finish the game by turn 4. For this reason no combo's are included in the deck.

Disigning the deck I tried to keep a good creature curve mainly because of Birthing Pod. For this reason i tried to put 3 creatures of every converted mana cost in the deck. Though this might not be needed i'm happy with the result. Where there could be some improvement is in the 5 and 6 drop creature slot. Any advise here? The creatures up to 4 mana are mostly suport creatures speading up my game. Creatures of 7 and 8 mana are bombs that have high impact when they land. 5 and 6 mana fits just in between but I would like to impact the game a bit more for such a mana investment. I'm mainly looking to replace: Sidisi, Undead Vizier, Bane of Progress and possibly Greenwarden of Murasa.

What do you guys think of adding the EDH bombs Yawgmoth's Will or Necropotence to the deck? I don't know if the deck is suitable for them but I'd love to play with those cards.

Still to aquire: Savannah // Arid Mesa // Misty Rainforest // Mana Confluence // Phyrexian Tower // Damnation // Oracle of Mul Daya
