I should've posted this update a long time ago. Took the deck to my first GP ever. I was really happy with how it performed. Ended up winning 5 games before getting my 3rd loss. 5-4 was my final record.
Round 1 | Scapeshift 2-0 | Played a guy from Calgary whose attended many GPs. Bad match for him. Great matchup for me
Round 2 | UW Flash 2-0 | Strange homebrew deck with a lot of flyers, Leyline of Anticipation and Swords. Easy win for me as he made some mistakes
Round 3 | UWR Midrange 2-1 | Very tough matchup against a very good player. I made a mistake game 2 which resulted in a loss. Was able to rebound and win game 3
Round 4 | Junk 0-2 | Not a good matchup for me. Got destroyed
Round 5 | Living End 1-2 | First time playing Living End. Should've studied it more before the tourney. Too aggressive in game 1 resulting in a loss.
Round 6 | Junk 2-0 | Very similar deck to Round 4, but my opponent was nowhere near as good. He was very easy to read and misplayed some cards
Round 7 | Hexproof Aura 2-1 | Very tough matchup against a very good player. I got lucky in game 3, as he drew too many creatures and not enough Auras
Round 8 | Junk 0-2 | Bad matchup against a good player. This deck really struggles against Junk
Round 9 | Infect 0-2 | Didn't play my best in this round. Made too many errors. Could've been much closer
All in all, I had a great GP. It was a lot of fun playing against very skilled Magic players. Junk was my nemesis.
