Let me tell you the story of a dragon, an unimpressive dragon. Like most dragons in magic the gathering Hellkite Tyrant was no good. He has many brothers Moonveil Dragon Balefire Dragon Utvara Hellkite and was saddened that he had fallen into there lot instead of being with the greatest brother Thundermaw Hellkite.

Depressed and knowing he would never see standard play except from the worst of kitchen table players where he would end up as a coaster, he departed. He set up a Trading Post and began dealing in his favorite items, artifacts.

He dealt in many artifacts and saw new ones everyday from all over the multiverse. Haunted Plate Mail that would come alive and protect its master, a supposed Elixir of Immortality that would keep death at bay, and a small Pithing Needle that would stop even the great planeswalkers in there tracks.

However one day he came across an artifact that he had never seen before from a land he had never heard of. The trader claimed it was the Pyxis of Pandemonium. Intrigued the Hellkite Tyrant immediately traded a great sum to the stranger for the object. Under the light of his Chromatic Lantern the Hellkite Tyrant slowly discovered the vessels potential. He was amazed and horrified all at once, he could use this artifact to his advantage.

He could be relevant once more, with his beloved trove of artifacts and the power of the Pyxis of Pandemonium he flew off to this new land. Theros the land of enchantment would now realize the long lost potential of artifacts and the power of the Hellkite Tyrant.
