This is a deck designed to get the most spell out of spells. it focuses on the Invisible Stalker+cipher combo to cast a ridiculous amount of spells per turn when used with Pyromancer Ascension and
Assault Strobe
. These spells can then be used to pump up Quirion Dryad passively, then they can target heroic creatures to get their buffs, and finally Nivmagus Elemental can exile the spells after they are cast and have targeted and activated the heroics, as the ciphers do not themselves buff the creatures. By having such high efficiency, this should be able to quickly grow a decent force that can be quite versatile with Bioshift.
If something goes wrong, Bioshift can also save all the accumulated counters, and place them all on the Invisible Stalker for a devastating, unexpected, unblockable, high damage attack.
with the high spell output, cards like Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Guttersnipe, and
Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper
can easily be win conditions, as long as the ciphers have been set up. However, it is hard to choose between them, and I feel I can't really have all of them and keep a focus on efficient counter generation and movement with Bioshift.
One of the other main issues with deck at the moment, I feel, is card draw: as all the creatures are designed to get out fast and grow. At the moment, I thought Curiosity+Guttersnipe would make a pretty ridiculous card draw combo with the amount of spells being cast through cipher. Basically a win condition when used with
Assault Strobe
. However, Guttersnipe doesn't fit into the 'counter growing' theme very well. It may be easier to modify the deck away from heroic and counter generation to focus on Guttersnipe and tokens with Young Pyromancer or Talrand, Sky Summoner, but I like the efficiency with heroic.
I would be very interested to hear people's thoughts on which may be a better or more versatile tactic, if I'm missing any potential combos, and if it is, or can be modified to be, fairly competitive (even though at the moment, the plan is just to play pretty casually with friends, I am pretty tired of loosing :p )
