High-speed equipment: weenies get very buff with cheap equipment. This deck is really very straightforward, easy to play, and surprisingly cheap and effective.

Best possible hand for win in turn three: 3x Plains, 1x Kor Duelist, 1x Sigarda's Aid, 1x Silver-Inlaid Dagger or Bonesplitter, 1x O-Naginata , and draw into two more O-Naginata on the next two draws.

Turn 1: Plains, Kor Duelist

Turn 2: Plains, Sigarda's Aid, Silver-Inlaid Dagger or Bonesplitter on Kor Duelist, swing for 6 damage. If blocked, that's still ok: slaughter the blocker and move on.

Turn 3: Plains, 3 O-Naginata or Silver-Inlaid Dagger or Bonesplitter on Kor Duelist, swing for 18 to 24 damage. Getting at least one O-Naginata is important, it will allow you to trample over blockers and still get in plenty of damage.

Turn 4: If opponent is still alive, kindly fix that problem, however you see fit.

Card analysis:

  • 3x Blinding Powder : protect your creatures in longer games, when first/double strike isn't enough.
  • 4x Bone Saw: an exceedingly cheap equipment, great for a buff during early or late game.
  • 4x Bonesplitter: straightforward and very effective. Cheap but a good buff.
  • 3x Inquisitor's Flail: helps to ramp damage up to overwhelming levels. The drawback can mostly be avoided with first strike/double strike/ Blinding Powder .
  • 4x O-Naginata : to overwhelm decks with fast blockers. The "can only be equipped to power 3 or greater" clause can usually be pretty easily satisfied with a Bone Axe, Silver-Inlaid Dagger, or Bone Saw.
  • 4x Silver-Inlaid Dagger: again, a cheap and vey effective buff, especially in the Auriok creatures.

  • 4x Auriok Glaivemaster : gets first strike and a +1/+1 when equipped.

  • 3x Auriok Steelshaper: a good card for longer games, not as useful in the shorter games, so only three copies. However, his ability to make equip cost less is great if you need to switch equipment around (Sigarda's Aid only helps when the equipment is first summoned, unfortunately). Also, his buff ability gives an additional +1/+1 to all the creatures in this deck when he's equipped.
  • 4x Kitesail Apprentice: there weakest creature in this deck, not having first strike to defend itself, but it has helpful evasion and gets an additional +1/+1 when equipped.
  • 4x Kor Duelist: the star of the show, and the way to get to most early wins. Double strike is a beast, especially when he's all equipped.

  • 4x Sigarda's Aid: speeds up the deck very much, practically removing the need to pay equip costs.

Sideboard Analysis:

  • 2x Blight Sickle : to take care of bothersome defenders or pesky indestructible creatures.
  • 4x Dispatch: a pretty effective option to bump off any defenders or threats.
  • 4x Fragmentize: to deal with bothersome enchantments or artifacts. Hopefully, the game won't go on long enough to see artifacts with converted mana costs above 4.
  • 1x Infiltration Lens : insane card advantage.
  • 4x Neurok Stealthsuit: when you're happily buffing away you Kor Duelist and getting ready to swing for insane amounts of damage, nothing ruins your day more than your opponent playing a Disperse or worse, your Kor Duelist committing an Act of Treason. Never fear! Just slap on a Neurok Stealthsuit and wave good bye to all those problems.
