I've created a new deck called mono red discard. I was trying to create one of my favorite decks the old modern is it Phoenix deck with the new cards in historic, but it is just too inconsistent.

I then realized that most of the cards are really liked were red anyway and possibly a mono red deck would be much more consistent. I have been very happy with the current results of this deck. But I do think it might still need some tweaking.

The goal of this deck is to get your phoenixes into the graveyard and use the cantrips or burn spells to also ramp up your prowess creatures. While at the same time also triggering spells that you are throwing in your graveyard with faithless looting or any of you are draw to spells.

The draw two spells also help keep your hand from mana flooding.
