I very much enjoy building control/tempo decks that use small creatures as win conditions. Somewhat inspired by Travis Woo's Honored Hierarch build in the previous standard I am giving it a go in Shadows Over Inistrad. My main reservation about this deck is that you need an untapped turn one to make the most of Honored Hierarch, but green isn't a colour that much supports the decks game plan after that. This isn't a problem if you get the Honored Hierarch and he goes renown because you have free colour fixing from then on out. But should we not find Honored Hierarch turn one and instead have to pull off a similar win with Dimensional Infiltrator the over representation of in the mana base may become an issue. The deck is far from perfect and I would welcome any recommendations anyone has. No sideboard for now as I'm still testing and tweaking the deck.
Keep the board clear of anything which causes your clock on your opponent to be slower than you have on them and beat them round the face with annoying 2 attack creatures.
EDIT: After some play I've noticed two problems to the deck. SOI 3 colour mana bases are jankey and slow. When the land falls in place as you need it to u burn through your hand very rapidly. To fix this I've added more forests to help with the turn one play and am considering a value engine, Ongoing Investigation actually seems quite promising.
