Dimir has always been my favorite guild so I wanted to build a fun deck with Black and Blue. Then add in some Heroic for more fun.

Tormented Hero - 2/1 one drop plus the Heroic ability as a bonus.

Agent of the Fates - For the sacrifice ability. Plus it's 3/2 and has deathtouch.

Omenspeaker - A blocker for aggro and helps setting up the cards we draw with her Scry 2.

Consuming Aberration - With the several low cast spells and the Hidden Strings going off every now and then, this creature can grow huge. Slap on an Aqueous Form for unblockable fury!

Boon of Erebos - 1 to cast Regen and Pump.

Mizzium Skin - Hexproof.

Rapid Hybridization - I enjoy this card a whole lot. This can be used to destroy your opponent's creatures (goodbye Blood Baron of Vizkopa, Polukranos, World Eater, etc). Aaaaaand, it can also be used on your own guys to give you a 3/3 token. Opponent may not expect something to block his creatures while you have a tapped Tormented Hero in play. Or the 1/3 Omenspeaker can be traded for the 3/3 Lizard. Or my favorite, targetting Agent of the Fates with that so not only do you get a token, but the opponent has to sacrifice a creature.

Hidden Strings - For the repeating casts that can trigger Heroic and the Consuming Aberration. This goes great with Aqueous Form

Jace, Memory Adept - Card advantage and it's second ability makes the Consuming Aberration grow.

Suggestions

Updates Add

Thinking of switching Tormented Hero with Nivmagus Elemental. The heroes don't really help against early game aggro when we're first starting to stabilize.

Also, I might also include Duskmantle Seer in the deck as it helps put pressure on the clock, while also adding fuel to our hand.

Any thoughts?
