Group Hug EDH! The deck is very thematically dedicated to the hug strategy, I won't run any "hard" removal at all, and I'm also in general not interested in including any more non-symmetrical effects than I need (IE targeted hate / removal). The deck goal is to stick as many howling-mine like effects as possible and ultimately mill out everyone at the table by tempoing them out and turtling up. Some of the good finishers are Dreamborn Muse, Jace's Archivist, and possible Windfall or Minds Aglow, but in general I think it could use some work on developing a more specific game plan, since most games you'll see most of the deck.

Also, the general is basically incidental. 'Gryff can be used to make a player draw a lot of cards, but he's basically never going to get used otherwise. I'd really rather run Angus Mackenzie if he weren't so damn hard to find and costly to buy.
