Enchantment (4)

A white/Green human enchantmet deck I have been playing and having alot of fun with. This deck has a lot of options. Here is the breakdown:

Creatures:Champion of the Parish--Simply one of my most favorite cards in standard because of his potential to get tokens fast if not dealt with.

Champion of Lambholt--One of my main finishers. With the options I have at my disposal it is easy for her to get past traditional 3-drops in one turn to begin hitting big for unblockable damage.

Wild Beastmaster--A card I feel is very underrated because with my enchantments I have and soul bondend with Wolfir Silverheart, it makes for one nasty backup plan to go in for the final kill.

Boros Elite --Another human one drop that can get bigger with battalion. This will trigger more times than not for a quick beatdown.

Silverblade Paladin--Soul bonded makes any of my creatures deadly especially when with Wolfir Silverheart

Mayor of Avabruck   --A good feed for either Champion of the Parish or Champion of Lambholt, plus if he flips gives me another creature after each turn which is a plus.

Serra Avenger --Is in there to give me an aerial threat that most people don't expect. And the fact she has vigilance and can be soul bonded with Wolfir Silverheart or Silverblade Paladin makes a deadly combination. She feeds Champion of Lambholt as well.

Enchantments:Rancor--one cost for +2/0 and trample works really well with any creature I have. And with Selesnya Charm can be an informal type of removal.

Ethereal Armor--My favorite enchantment from the last set. With all my other enchantments I have the large potential to pump up Wild Beastmaster or Champion of Lambholt really easy.

Bonds of Faith --Can be used either for offense or defense if I know there is a creature that I need to remove from combat to do the final kill.

Spells:Selesnya Charm--A good removal card for large creatures or a +2/+2 to any creature with trample is always good for any one of my creatures.

I think this deck has alot of potential to be a good solid deck. But improvements could always be made. I really enjoy this deck and want it to be a peak performer. Any comments or suggestions are greatly welcomed and appreciated.

Ok, So got to do my first FNM this weekend and got to say was pretty fun. Saw some interesting decks out there and depending on if I go to the same shop next time, I can get an idea what to expect. We played 5 rounds and I ended up going 1-4-0. I know this doesn't look good, but It is a start and I look forward at getting better. Here is the breakdown of kinda what happened and what I was against.

Round 1: B/R Sacrife type Deck. Geralf's Messenger and Falkenrath Aristrocrat were my downfall here. Game 1 I got him down to 1 life and lost after realizing that I could have soul bonded a Avacyn's Pilgrim to gain the additional damage to win. Round 2- I just got stomped hard by burn spells and when I finally go a board pressence to do considerable damage. My 7/7 Champion of Lambholt was taken by Act of Aggression and killed me. I ended up losing that round 0-2

Round 2: Red Goblins. Burns spells kept my main creatures off the board early on and again when I could recover it was too late. Thalia never came up so I could control what was going on as well as I would have liked. A Goblin Grenade ended up finishing game 1. Game 2 was a much better hand, got my key drops and building both champion of lambholt and pairing with Silverblade Paladin. Sigarda, Host of Herons was the win here hitting hard and taking names. Game 2 went to me. Game 3 was much like the first game. He kills some creatures early on and by the time I could do considerable damage with a Sigarda/Silverblade bond it was one turn too late. I end up losing the Round 2-1

Round 3: B/W Token deck. This was probably my best draws i had all night and when the cards come out correctly tokens add fast and champion of the parish and chamion of lambholt really kick it in gear. I played an early Descendants' Path and was flipping creatures every turn. I ended up winning 2-0

Round 4: R/W humans. This was a close matchup mainly going down to the last possible turn and both of us had 10 or less life before a person died. What screwed me was Bonfire of the Damned twice and really couldn't recover much from it. Faith's Reward unfortunately never popped up so i was left defeated 2-1

Round 5: R/B delver burn. This was much compared to last match up as Bonfire of the Damned twice in two games really didn't allow me to gain stablility back to win. Sigarda game one turn too late otherwise I could have pulled of a close win. Lost 2-1

So, to sum things up.....I made a few errors in my games and that will come with more experience, but some things are evident that may need to change in my deck. First off Descendants' Path is like a double edged sword in here and can be really good, but if my mana isn't up to par I could potentially be discarding mana and drawing creatures which actually hurt me one game. Sigarda, Host of Herons is an amazing card don't get me wrong, but I am thinking that Wolfir Silverheart is probably going to be a much better fit for this deck. attached to Champion of Lambholt would give here an instant butf to give here power she needs to go to town.

My thoughts: -2 Descendants' Path -2 Hamlet Captain -2 {Sigarda, Host of Herons]] +3 Rancor +3 Wolfir Silverheart

Thoughts?
