Hi there guys! I'm Duma.Key and I'm quite new to the whole Magic the Gathering scene. Not long ago some friends and I held a Draft Tournament with an Eldritch Moon box, and I assembled a really nice token generator deck. This inspired me to create a Standard constructed Human Token Generator deck.

Idea

The cards are pretty obvious, there's Hanweir Garrison + Spectral Reserves to spawn a lot of tokens, some early cheap Human cards to get that Aggro going and some cards that work really well with big numbers of creatures like Hamlet Captain + Hanweir Militia Captain + Thalia's Lieutenant . I've added Sigardian Priest to counter big creatures, and Thalia, Heretic Cathar to make sure I can keep the aggro up. When there are a lot of creatures cards like Make a Stand + Second Harvest make sure the numbers keep growing.

So what's wrong?

Well, I haven't played this exact deck yet, but I feel like I'm maybe using too many different cards. It already uses two extra colors ( (8.33%) & (11.67%) ) so I can play cards as Hamlet Captain + Hanweir Garrison + Second Harvest . And White (46.67%) because it has by far the best Human cards. This makes the mana draw pretty risky, though little mana is needed for most cards (avg. mana cost is 2.69). Secondly, I feel like there is little I can do if they counter me, for example a red AoE deck with many 1 damage pokes (e.g. those nifty little devils).
