Hyper Budget Omnath

Commander / EDH

Pacopenguin

I have a reputation of being a bit of a spike in my playgroup, so I figured that I would try to make a more casual deck, but at the same time, I don't want to play a bad deck. So, I figured I would limit myself to only spending about 50$ for the deck (excluding the general). I also have a deep love of just playing green and ramping all day, so Omnath was a natural choice for such a challenge.

The deck is pretty simple to pilot. It's game plan is pretty much just play a ton of ramp cards to ramp out Omnath, and then play more ramp cards to get a ton of elementals. Part of the reason that I love Omnath so much is that in a lot of traditional green ramp decks, you can get awkward draws where you either have all ramp and no creatures, or all creatures and no ramp. Omnath completely eliminates this from the deck as all of your ramps spells become creatures. On top of that, you have no real qualms with just creating as many elementals as you can, because even if your board gets wiped, you still can do a ton of damage to the guy that just cleared your board -- maybe enough to even knock them out of the game all together.
