Power, From Death
A Creature heavy deck which grabs its power from the dead. The goal is to send out the 'expendables' and watch the others grow as they are sacrificed (for the greater good?)
Golgari has always been my favourite combination. They can adapt and merge with everything! In this case Rakdos. A mix of early game aggression, mid game large creatures and life-gain ensures you can cripple your opponent.
As always improvement is always thought after and constructive criticism appreciated. I have my 'maybe' pile already set up but if you have more suggestions please tell.
Main Deck
CREATURES:
Festering Newt
- A misleading 1 drop that will eventually play as a sacrifice to Bubbling Cauldron.
Spike Jester
- An Aggressive twist that will either deal three damage or be blocked and send both the defender and jester to the grave yard, feeding most creatures!
Lotleth Troll
- Ever growing, ever Feeding. Trample and regenerate a threat that is hard to deal with!
Nighthowler
- Self explanatory. Great Creature. Better Bestow!Use jarad to blow up the bestowed creature and be left with a beefy nighthowler still standing
Flame-Wreathed Pheonix - 3/3 with haste and Phoenix style rebirth which i can snakrifice to bubbling cauldron and gain 4 life.or a 5/5 flyer for 5. winning!
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord - Why golgari is fun. use its power throw it away and gain the its strength.
Ghor-Clan Rampager
- A solid creature, even beter bloodrush.feed the grave and the creature!
Nemesis of Mortals
- Big Bad ass snake that becomes so cheap to cast and play! much fun!
ENCHANTS, SORCERY & ARTEFACTS:
Whip of Erebos - Life Link, and flinging back creatures from the grave :D
Mizzium Mortars - Board wipe or kill spells! duh
Bubbling Cauldron - one of my sacrifice outlets and anti removal that gives me 4 life for beefing up my grave :D
