Sideboard

Maybeboard

I wanted the jam the deck full of burn spells that doubles as destroy spells. (I.E cackling doom, searing blood, God of slaughter, stoke the flames, arc) To make sure I don't burn out synergy I got 6 draw spells. 4 of which double as player burn.

This deck is also unfortunately a mid to late game combo deck. Majority of the early game will be me just trying to keep the board clear of creature permanents.

Some of the combos I've considered was the Fate unraveler + Sign in blood for some heavy damage to potential win-con, plus putting players on the count turn per turn would have been nice, but I find the survivability of the hag to be slim to none. Instead, I found more viable use in Ark-Bond with Soul-fire grand master and Ruthless rippers. The soulfire master can help greatly with lifegain but when combo'd with arc-bond (5 mana combo ) you could potentially see a 10-30 lifegain advantage + board wipe. And obviously the rippers also used as a board wipe. (4 mana combo)

The soulfire's secondary ability, if I could pull it off would also greatly help win the late-game but it would be considered a heavy mana combo. Unlikely it would ever see use in a match.

The soulfire also helps me use sign in blood on myself without having to pay the health cost. (combo 4 drop)

As for the other creatures and why I picked them. Well the god-card may seem useless at first glance. it however In fact put's the player on the count. The way the deck is built is to keep their board clear of creatures, that way the opponent will be forced to take 2 damage every turn. And the blood-soaked champion can be useful when I board-wipe or have to discard a card. (I.e tormenting voice, discard, sacrifice, or too many cards in hand) he make's a beneficial "throw away card" Although, I am in debate of keeping him or not and put some kill-spells in his place but we'll see.

Another interesting combo is that Thunderbeak Regent and one Craters Claw. Paying 4 mana for a 4/4 flyer with added burn damage to those who choose to destroy it is nice, but it also pairs well with that Crater's Claw. - Crater's claw is useful when you have a lot of mana and want to finish off your opponant for whatever he has left, but with the dragon out I get to add on another 2 damage to that spell. So that's why I have 1 in the deck, it paired far too well with the dragons not to add them to the deck.

I'm willing for suggestions. Although, as far I can tell this deck for what it is, is pretty much at it's limit of improvement in the standard block. Aside from sideboard.
