Casual Rabbit Themed Deck that will make you feel like a magician!

It is said that Rabbits have great eyesight, so I made sure that was true with this deck:

  • The Valley Questcaller has a nice scrying ability which helps ensure that we have Rabbits at the top of the deck.
  • Realmwalker (It's a rabbit, trust me) lets you see the top card of your deck at any point in time and play Rabbits from the top of the deck

Combined, they make for the core engine of this deck: play with your library rather than your hand, aka pulling rabbits out of the hat (deck).

Prepping the pull

To ensure a few more scry getting us rabbits, we want to thin the deck as much as possible on the lands side (hence the Windswept Heath) and maximise ETBs per mana:

The Warren Warleader also has some nice interactions around card draw and scry due to its ability to spawn a Rabbit token:

Accelerators

  • Urza's Incubator: removes the colorless cost of nearly all Rabbits in this deck. It also works with the offspring additional cost.
  • Morophon, the Boundless (weirdest looking rabbit, I know): removes the color cost of nearly all Rabbits in this deck.

Combined, they make nearly all rabbits free, which combined with Realmwalker and Valley Questcaller means dumping all the rabbits from your deck onto the board. In this deck too, Rabbits do multiply!

Grand finale

Finally, since you can dig quite deep in your deck and a board wipe could be devastating, I also included a single Raise the Past, which can return the Valley Questcallers, the Pawpatch Recruits and the Hinterland Sanctifiers and one Finneas, Ace Archer back to the battlefield. Since you dig deep, you are relatively likely to get it by the time you are wiped. If all are returned, that's 60 in power back on the board, 25 life gained and 38 scry 1 (i.e. cycle your deck to find the card you are looking for).

Notes

  • This deck is definitely not competitive (rabbit is far too much of a constraint for my ability), but it's quite fun to play with and see the rabbits come out endlessly. (tons of ETB tho, so the turns require some planning to execute well)
  • The mana base of this deck is absolutely casting pearls before swines, but I already had it from other decks. I am pretty sure, you could get way more budget by cutting the Temple Gardens and the Three Tree City, and maybe Windswept Heath without too much of an impact on the reliability of the deck by replacing them with Scattered Groves or Radiant Grove.
  • I am still on the fence about whether Three Tree City is actually helping the deck or not.
  • Feedback is welcomed, especially around how to speed the deck up, nice interactions I might have missed, and better handling of non-creature threats, which is currently relegated to sideboard.
