Red, White, and Blue. A great color scheme, however America doesn't sit back and wait for others to solve their problems, just like I don't like to sit back and wait for a bloody wincon like most other America control decks. America takes action and so do I. With this deck you'll be up in everyone's face with unblockable creatures, and you'll topdeck and wreck with the power of scry. A side note, this deck only uses cards from the Theros block, as I like to prepare for the future.
Card Breakdown
Creatures:
Flamespeaker Adept: The main focus of this deck, you can play any instant in here and pump this guy up. Hell, you can even play a land and pump him up. Every other card in here is based around him.
Battlewise Hoplite
: The right hand man to the aforementioned center. You can hit him with any spell to pump him, and Flamespeaker Adept twice. You will probably be digging deep into your library with this one.
Fabled Hero: A very nice card and a very nice heroic, using him gives your spell twice the strength with his double strike ability. If you can get him to be unblockable, it's gg from there.
Sigiled Starfish: A new card coming out that is almost a joke, but no to me. This little guy let's me scry and pump at the same time, every turn, with no mana usage. He could also be used as a chump blocker if necessary.
Thassa, God of the Sea: A magnificent creature for this deck, allowing scry and unblockable creatures if I don't have any Aqueous Form.
Spells:
Aqueous Form: Card speaks for itself, unblockable and scry. Put this bad boy on a Flamespeaker Adept to have a killing machine... I mean liberator.
Titan's Strength: A fabulous 1 drop pumper that pushes forward into enemy lines.
Gods Willing: Another 1 drop that saves games. Make sure to keep one white mana open in case your opponent is running removal of some kind. Even then just use it to block detention sphere and what not.
Battlewise Valor
: The favorite card of hoplites, this one can dish out damage and have your opponent be fearful of a Gods Willing if you keep that white mana open.
Magma Jet: Predator missile inbound. This spell can get rid of early game creatures or deal that killing blow to an opponent, all with have the power of "SCRY 2", meaning you can dig even deeper into that thing.
Dissolve: Hey if I am running blue and wanting to scry, why not use a staple of blue decks.
Stymied Hopes
: This card can definitely save games, it's the end of your turn and you have 2 mana open, they Sphinx's Rev for 5... NOT IN MY HOUSE! Wham! You just got countered by one of the worst counters in standard, and I get to scry now.
