EDH Kaalia of the Vast Aggro. My playgroup uses a lot of blue control decks, so I thought I would mix up the bunch and play a deck that goes for the kill. Included a Maybeboard for additional options. Any advice is welcomed.

Pretty typical Kaalia deck. I wanted to add in a control/defense element since Kaalia will get some hate. Iona, Shield of Emeria is a game changer if you can get her out early with Kaalia, as well as Avacyn, Angel of Hope.

Vindicate, Mortify, Condemn, Swords to Plowshares, Return to Dust, and Path to Exile will help control the board and protect Kaalia.

Basic equipment was added to the deck to protect her as well, and I added the Signets to add some mana ramp, and Phyrexian Arena for card draw. Turn 1 Sol Ring and Rakdos Signet would get Kaalia of the Vast out on Turn 2, which might as well end the game.

Other Kaalia combos that create some great synergy are with Master of Cruelties, Rune-Scarred Demon, and Rakdos the Defiler , since his first ability does not trigger when Kaalia brings him out attacking.

I kept Lord of the Void and Sire Of Insanity on the maybeboard for now, but might include them in later.
