A Simic +1/+1 counter deck. I started building this because I thought that the proliferate mechanic was interesting and I want to see how it can be exploited.
Synergies
Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and Cytoplast Root-Kin allow you to add counters to most (or all) of your creatures at once. Stacking this with proliferate effects from Thrummingbird and Tezzeret's Gambit little Servant of the Scales from turn one can grow immensely by turn 5 or so.
A somewhat obscure mechanic is the rule that -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters "cancel each other out", so the graft keyword (Cytoplast Root-Kin,
Plaxcaster Frogling
, Llanowar Reborn) also combos nicely with Kitchen Finks, essentially creating an unkillable 3/2 that gains you two life every time it dies.
Graft is also neat when combined with Hardened Scales. Remove 1 +1/+1 counter from the graft card and add 2 to a creature entering the battlefield.

pumps creatures quickly, and add Hardened Scales to give all your creatures 4 counters in one turn.
Sideboarding
Plaxcaster Frogling
is great in the control matchup, and Ratchet Bomb is in there to help against tokens. Scavenging Ooze is good for graveyard hate while also synergizing with the +1/+1 theme. And of course, Pithing Needle to help against Johnny Combo decks.
All suggestions are welcome - I think that there's a lot that can be improved. I'm interested in getting this deck to be as competitive as possible while still keeping proliferate as a central theme.
