Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero

Currently having a mid-deckbuilding crisis. Decided I didn't like combo. Maybe value ETBs? Board wipes? Grindy Aggro win con? We'll see!

Original Combo Plan

COMBOS: Here to win me the game. Not difficult to tutor or draw for, some overlap.

Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Loyal Retainers + any lethal sac outlet = win. Other sac outlets give me infinite ETBs, mana, and/or graveyard recursion.

Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Phyrexian Altar + Flameshadow Conjuring = infinite ETBs and graveyard recursion. Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Minion Reflector + Ashnod's Altar = the same deal, then all I need to do is add a finisher. Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Minion Reflector + Phyrexian Altar works with another creature as well.

Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + non-token ETB Creature = infinite ETBs and graveyard recursion. Also works with Phyrexian Altar and 3 other creatures.

Sun Titan + Gift of Immortality + lethal sac outlet = win. Or infinite mana with Phyrexian/Ashnod's.

EGGS: kinda here to dig for combo pieces but can work as a massive draw late game or some reusable utility.

Board Wipes: Some Finishers, others are just here for repeatable wipes.

Obliterate, Jokulhaups, Cataclysm, Cleansing Nova, Oblivion Stone, Nevinyrral's Disk,

Tutors: and what they get

Kuldotha Forgemaster gets any of my main artifact combo pieces, I just need some eggs to sac. Imperial Recruiter gets many of my finishers or value ETB creatures, but most importantly Loyal Retainers. Hoarding Dragon gets any of my main artifact combo pieces, it just sucks because it also has to die. Recruiter of the Guard also gets many of my finishers or value ETB creatures, but most importantly Loyal Retainers. Enlightened Tutor gets any of the artifact combo pieces, and also any enchantment combo pieces or sac outlets. Or just Smothering Tithe. Steelshaper's Gift gets Nim Deathmantle. Open the Armory gets Nim Deathmantle or Gift of Immortality. Inventors' Fair gets any of my main artifact combo pieces, just needs a lot of set up.

Then I'd cut:

• Hoarding Dragon - not worth the investment and effort
• Filigree Familiar - Just not great enough unless its also dying consistently
• Keldon Marauders - Bad
• Kor Carographer - Too slow when artifact mana has gotten so good
• Salvager of Ruin - Bad
• Skyscanner - Just kinda mediocre in general
• Obliterate - Too expensive
• Panharmonicon - Etb value isn't good enough in this deck to justfify the investment
• And Gibbering Fiend - Bad
• Anafenza - Counters and recursion don't mix
• Also bolster kinda sucks
• Guild Globe
• Prophetic Prism
