Infinite Dark Combo
is a really fun and complicated toolbox/gravebox deck that combines a ton of combos, as well as an INFINITE combo to, smother your opponent. This deck has had a lot of variations, but this build has has been doing what I want, when I want, extremely consistently.
Combo Explained:
-Use
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
with Panharmonicon on the field to cast 2 Eldritch Evolution from your graveyard,
-Sacrifice the
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
and any other creature to the Eldritch Evolutions,
-Search for
Drowner of Hope
and Eldrazi Displacer,
-
Drowner of Hope
enters with 4 scion tokens thanks to Panharmonicon,
-Sacrifice 3 of the tokens to use Eldrazi Displacer on
Drowner of Hope
and create 4 new scion tokens,
-Repeat until you have as many scions as you like.
Strategy:
-The goal;
to evade death, while you fill your grave until you can win with an infinite fleet of scion tokens, or by attrition card advantage. However, this isn't a control deck, it's closer to a turbo fog combo deck. There is the potential to fire off infinite scions on turn 5 and more constantly you will fire them off turn 6ish.
-Early game;
involves filling your graveyard with Minister of Inquiries and Perpetual Timepiece.
-Mid game;
your either setting up to combo off, or digging for pieces while you keep your life total away from 0. Well timed
Pulse of Murasa
s can do both for you.
-Late game;
Firing off spells, hopefully
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
to abuse Panharmonicon, the deck has a very strong card engine at this point and if your not being attacked for 20 a turn by now you should be able to win with big plays.
.
Core Combos:
.
#1- Infinite scion tokens - - Drowner of Hope + Eldrazi Displacer + Panharmonicon
Drowner of Hope
enters with 4 scions thanks to Panharmonicon, 3 of which can be sacrificed to activate Eldrazi Displacer and blink your
Drowner of Hope
who then re-enters the battlefield with 4 more scion buddies. Repeat this as many times as you like and summon a million man army. You are also now able to tap all your opponents creatures and blink them, and your following turn you can swing for 1,000,000 dmg.
.
#2- Flashback 2 spells from your Graveyard - - Goblin Dark-Dwellers
+
Panharmonicon
This is your bread and butter combo. This is the one that puts you too far ahead. Combo #1 is what you want to get out to win, but Combo #2 is the one that will most likely get you to Combo #1. That's because our deck features some great synergies that help accelerate our combo potential. Check out Combo #3 to see what I mean!
.
#3- Summon any creature in your deck - - Eldritch Evolution
+
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
This Combo is really strong on it's own, but paired with Combo #2 shit gets crazy. With 2 copies of Eldritch Evolution in your graveyard, and Panharmonicon and a creature like Minister of Inquiries on the field, casting
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
becomes a win-con. By targeting the Minister of Inquiries with 1 ELDEVO, and the
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
with the other ELDEVO, we can summon Eldrazi Displacer and
Drowner of Hope
, our Combo #1.
.
#4- Set-up and buy time - - Goblin Dark-Dwellers
+
Pulse of Murasa
These 2 cards work great together, you'll want 1 in your hand and 1 in the graveyard, and the great thing is they work together either way! This deck self mills and loots like crazy, it's super easy to set up the graveyard early on and let your opponent do whatever.
Pulse of Murasa
is one of the main ways this deck deals with aggro. playing a T4 pulse from hand eot into a T5
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
to flash it back, gaining 12 life as well as getting 2 cards from your graveyard (could be another goblin for next turn) and that big 4/4 body makes people say "gross". Don't forget that was without Panharmonicon!!
.
#5- Flash back spells - - Eldrazi Displacer
+
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
Eldrazi Displacer can do a lot of cool things in this deck, but be careful. He is a pretty big target and you never want to expose both your copies of him to the possibility of being exiled. It won't mean you can't win if you do lose them both, but its gonna be a lot harder. His ability costs a fair bit of mana and wont really shine until later in the game when you have strong targets for him. He can blink
Drowner of Hope
to buy time as well as infinitely with Panharmonicon (combo #1). Also he can blink Greenwarden of Murasa, Thought-Knot Seer, Minister of Inquiries, Cloudblazer, Reflector Mage and Linvala, the Preserver to abuse their enter the battlefield abilities.
.
Card explanations and side board:
.
return Panharmonicon from your gy, can be summoned with Eldritch Evolution or Nahiri, the Harbinger or
Pulse of Murasa
.
.
lifesaving target for combo #3. Works with Panharmonicon, potentially T5 gain 10 life and make 2 angel tokens. BROKE in this deck JUST BROKE.
.
This cards sneaky good, early on it smooths out your mana, and later on, I mean like sometimes T3 in this deck, you can use it to get
Goblin Dark-Dwellers
from your library, or whatever else you need. It's also a great target for your second flashback off Combo #2 allowing you to dig up another goblin for next turn.
.
Do amazing work for us. Use these bad boys to dig for combo pieces and throw Eldritch Evolution out of your hand.
.
Mills Eldritch Evolution and targets for
Pulse of Murasa
. Also returns your combo pieces to your deck if they are in your Grave.
.
Discard spells to GY, -8 and summon missing artifact or summon core creature, dig for combo pieces, exile problems.
.
Easy GY set-up. This cards awesome, often the 6 cards he mills in addition to 1 other type of milling or discarding effect is enough to get your grave set to start doing what you need. Extra copies of him can make energy for Aether Hubs, and Eldritch Evolution allows you to make him into an Eldrazi Displacer.
.
Win-con. This guy is part of the decks namesake and is in the sideboard as an alternate win condition. If combo #1 isn't getting the job done, maybe because of board wipes, you can win without passing the turn when you go infinite using Thought-Knot Seer. Blinking him will force your opponent to draw out their deck, which is easy when you have infinite scions.
.
Anti-control. Not perfect but pretty dam close. Can hit this bad boy off a combo #3 when there's an opening, or hard cast when there's not. As long as he doesn't get exiled you can Perpetual Timepiece him for another try.
.

-Lost Legacy and other hand disruption
-Math and remembering whats still in your deck
-Panharmonicon and Eldrazi Displacer are vulnerable
Notes:-Deck is 4 colors + a tiny tiny touch of eldrazi, but it has the mana for it and the core of the deck is actually TEMUR.

-Lots of ways these combos could be used in another deck, let me know if you try something inspired here.
-Lots of sideboard options depending on meta.
