update 2500 views and top rated on the main page for a while. =D
This deck is hilarious and strangely viable. It looks absolutely terrible on the surface but if you dig a little deeper, it's actually very hard to deal with and has already posted some good tournament results.
It's a modified version of so_so_good's deck that he used to go 4-0 or 3-1 in several online tournaments. Best part about the deck is that it's basically free if you already have the Inkmoths.
The goal of the deck is to dig up an Inkmoth Nexus and then attack for 10 poison in a single turn (ideally) using the pump spells. Ichorclaw Myr also provides a strong combo with
Unnatural Predation
. The deck is extremely consistent and an incredibly powerful rogue deck that will catch a lot of people off guard who are packing hate for other decks.
Three things to remember:
1) Do not activate Inkmoth Nexus unless you have protection. insert sexual innuendo about protection here
2) Mulligans are IMPORTANT. Do not keep a hand without either expo map or nexus and at least one pump. I keep every hand with nexus and 2 pumps or map with 2 pumps.
3) Do not blow your load early. Pump in response to burn/removal or you will basically lose outright. The exception is if they are tapped out or if you have enough in your hand to nullify any hate they could throw at you.
The most legitimate threats to play around are Beast Within, Tectonic Edge, and Spellskite which is what the sideboard helps deal with.
