Deck {R}{G}{W}:

Attack and ramp in the early game with creatures Kessig Wolfrider and Kessig Naturalist   as you thin out your opponents board-state of creatures via Brutal Cathar  ’s exile ability.
A variety of low-mana cost, combat-centric instant speed spells gives the deck better control to strategically transform Moonrage Brute   back into Brutal Cathar   when needed.
Halana and Alena, Partners and Avabruck Caretaker  / Hollowhenge Huntmaster   provide the deck with ways to generate at least two +1/+1 counters per activation, give all your creatures hexproof and enhance the effectiveness of finisher Volatile Arsonist  / Dire-Strain Anarchist  .

Creatures:

• Kessig Wolfrider (menace, 3/2 Wolf creature token generator). With a sizable amount of instant speed spells in the deck that eventually make their way into your graveyard, you have the flexibility to generate 3/2 Wolf creature tokens in the mid game (if the match requires you to play an aggro go-wide strategy) or can be used as a late game mana sink.
• Kessig Naturalist   (Daybound: mana ramp, Nightbound: mana ramp, +1/+1 anthem effect)
• Brutal Cathar   (Daybound: ETB conditional exile target creature, Nightbound: ward: pay 3 life, first strike)
• Halana and Alena, Partners (first strike, reach, +1/+1 counter generator). Breathes new life into your unassuming Kessig Wolfrider‘s in the mid game to turn them into at least a 3/4 menace.
• Volatile Arsonist   (Daybound: menace, haste, whenever this creature attacks it deals 1 damage to target creature & player & planeswalker, Nightbound: menace, haste, whenever this creature attacks it deals 2 damage to target creature & player & planeswalker)
• Avabruck Caretaker   (Daybound: hexproof, +1/+1 counter generator at beginning of combat, Nightbound: hexproof, other permanents you control gain hexproof, +1/+1 counter generator at beginning of combat)

Spells:

• Massive Might (+2/+2 and trample until end of turn)
• Snakeskin Veil (+1/+1 counter, hexproof)
• Fateful Absence (removal, opponent gains 1 clue token)
• Lightning Helix (3 damage to any target and you gain 3 life)
