Note: This is a budget deck
Well, I've completely upgraded the deck since the last time I used it!
The idea of the deck is to survive as long as you can, while trying to remove as many lands from your deck as you can in order to ramp into your finishing combo.
Fork in the Road
is particularly good at doing this for cheap. After ramping as hard as possible, use Pieces of the Puzzle to grab your combo pieces. The major wombo here: Insidious Will + Part the Waterveil
If you can manage to survive long enough to cast these cards, using Insidious Will's third effect to copy Part the Waterveil will give you multiple extra turns in a row. You want to attempt to do this while they are tapped out, or if you happen to grab both copies of Insidious will out of your deck. The turn after that, cast your main finisher: Rise from the Tides. Then turn your board sideways on the third turn and enjoy sweet victory.
TL;DR:
Step 1: Ramp hard (remove as much land from the deck as you can)
Step 2: Use delay and Pieces of the Puzzle to self mill and grab combo pieces
Step 3: Once you have them, cast Insidious Will + Part the Waterveil
to gain multiple turns, then
Step 4: Cast your Rise from the Tides to finish them off.
NOTE: Pulling mana from your deck early guarantees you won't mill as much mana when casting Pieces of the Puzzle. Using delay will get you to your combo most of the time. This jank deck wins about 65-70% of the time :)
Original Description: "This is a fun little deck I made in duels which focuses around self-milling and mana ramp with a bit of delay in order to get out a massive amount of zombie tokens. It's very vulnerable to wave-clear so I highly recommend saving a spell shrivel just in case they have something like radiant flames in their deck.
Let me know what you guys think!"
