Five color decks aren't commonly used, but the alara and khans tri-lands make it easy to get reaper king out. Also the tutoring for lands like Cultivate, Shard Convergence, Farseek (and others), and the vivid lands from lorwyn. The deck works with artifacts and shapeshifters, and powerfull cards that come in handy when playing edh like Rite of Replication, Cyclonic Rift, and Mirari's Wake. I feel that Reaper King is an extremely underestimated commander, and cards like Venser, the Sojourner and Deadeye Navigator who get rid of shapeshifters and scarecrows temporarily, and when they come back into play, you trigger Reaper King's ability and you can destroy any permanent! Most games you get reaper king out turn five which is unexpected to most players. You get so much value out of playing five colors seeing as you can play any changling in magic, Bringer of the White Dawn can be payed for five instead of seven mana, Chromatic Lantern and Prismatic Omen fix all of your lands, so as long as you have five mana, you can get the king out. Its great when you can get a Lightning Greaves on the king, so he cant be targeted and has haste. The deck works amazingly in both multiplayer and one on one games, and depending on your playgroup or whoever you are playing this deck against, may not mind its strategy, or, most times in multiplayer, you may be the target. This does depend if there is a more powerful deck on the table (which there most likely is).
