It's a Gruul Gruul World

Standard BRG (Jund)

Maybeboard

A straightforward beater deck with mana ramp, trample, double strike, and bloodrush.

Turn 1-4: Elves to give mana. Recluse/Skylasher for defense. Verdant Haven or Ranger's Path to get more land/mana; Verdant + Arbor Elf is a nice combo for 4 mana from 1 land. Guildmage/Raiders/Tracker to position your offense.Turn 5+: Start bringing out heavies. Utility cards as needed: Predator's Rapport for a big life burst, Alpha Authority to protect heavies and maximize trample damage, Armed/Dangerous to pull blockers (especially non-combatant creature threats), Ground Assault for add'l removal.

Also note: I usually pull out the Monstrosity with the Tracker, but the singleton creatures (Recluse, Skylasher, Rampager, Ruric) are in there on purpose to give me different options depending on what I am facing, or if I have a slow mana start, or if I already have a Monstrosity in hand.

Cautions:The deck can take a beating early against Aggro, but you should survive (try to keep your Elf) until a heavy is out and then cast a Rapport. It can also be susceptible to detain and lock-down (Pacifism, Hands of Binding etc). Sideboard in Clinging Mists, Naturalize, or Huntbeast to help with that if needed. Additional flying defense is also in sideboard as needed.
