Ok, I'm not a complete jerk but I've been playing with some version of artifact decks in standard for three years.

The idea for this got better with a few cards. I fully intend to abuse Scuttling Doom Engine and Chief Engineer until they are gone.

At peek/ideal hands turn three wins are very possible. Just pulled one out this FNM. You wanna know what it is don't you? T1: land, ornithropter, keeper of the lenseT2: enroll artifact swing 6T3: land, swing 6. Shrapnel Blast Collateral DamageGG

Of course they would have to have no blockers but in this "every land comes in tapped" meta, it's possible.

The most important thing with this deck is DON'T BE AFRAID TO MULLIGAN TO SIX!You have to get the speed you need to win.

Don't be tempted by this more mid range versions. They are fine, but not awesome like this deck. Now the control version could be VERY interesting.

Also ensouling an ornithropter trumps a Darksteel Citadel almost every match up. That's five damage you miss out on. Remember, you are racing. You want to win that race.

Now an indestructible IS better when facing black spot removal.

One really just needs to play this deck to get good at it.

Now hurry and annoy the crap outta the FNM players at your local store! Scuttling Doom Engine won't be in standard forever!
