Step one: prevent yourself from losing the game with any of the following:

Step two: play Phage the Untouchable

Step three: start killing opponents

Step three can be accomplished a few different ways. The easiest way to do this is to give Phage fear with Shizo, Death's Storehouse and suit her up with Lightning Greaves. You can also give her a Whispersilk Cloak or Rogue's Passage activation to render her unblockable, but you'll usually have to wait another turn to swing with her due to shroud. An essential card that is not pictured in this list for budget reasons is Hall of the Bandit Lord. I would strongly recommend playing that one.

My favorite way to kill with Phage is with Endless Whispers. This deck has (approximately) one million kill spells, and you can cast one on Phage to give her to an opponent, who will most likely immediately lose. If you're in a one-on-one, you can actually kill them with your own "lose the game" trigger still on the stack. Just follow a line like

  1. Phage the Untouchable enters the battlefield
  2. Cast Ultimate Price in response to her trigger on the stack
  3. Phage dies and you choose to send her to the graveyard, triggering Endless Whispers
  4. She comes into play on your opponent's side and the only triggers left on the stack are them losing the game before you

It should be noted that Phage makes a decent monoblack stax commander, but I purposely avoided going that route. If you want to spike her out a bit, I'd add Torpor Orb (which combos nicely with Phage as it is), Lethal Vapors (which also combos with Endless Whispers), Withering Boon, and possibly Contamination.
