Alrighty, here's the jist of it:
Nivix Cyclops + Assault Strobe + Artful Dodge = win

The rest of the deck is filled with control and aggro the way Izzet does it.

Card Choices

First and foremost, Kiln Fiend is here as an earlier game option (although not as cool as the 'clops). Other alternatives are Distortion Strike and Temur Battle Rage.

Aside from combo stuff we have Stubborn Denial, Spell Pierce, and Negate for protection. Lightning Bolt because this is a modern deck with red in it. Serum Visions and Gitaxian Probe for card advantage. Manamorphose provides a free trigger and can be used to dig for things I need.

Sideboard

Torpor Orb because eldrazi and angels. Blood Moon because control or ANY three-color deck. Hurkyl's Recall because battlebots. Pyroclasm because aggro. Echoing Truth because tokens. Surgical Extraction because combo decks.
