For my very first Izzet deck I wasn't I picked up the 2015 commander deck with Mizzix of the Izmagnus at the forefront.

With her ability to make Sorcery's and Instant spells cheaper to cast you can throw down those big spells for next to nothing!
Though the big drawing point is clearly maxing out spells like Banefire and hurling them in players faces, Curse of the Swine is excellent removal for those pesky indestructable creatures that come knocking on my door.
The Proliferate mechanic is perfect for Mizzix so I run a number of spells that
