I love two things in this world: Artifacts, and EDH. I've long been waiting for a red creature to be released that would combo super well with artifacts, or at least moderately well, and the last few months have been pretty good in that regard. Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient is neat but doesn't really do anything super useful in regards to creatures. Feldon of the Third Path is awesome but he doesn't really combo super well with artifacts per say, it's more or a graveyard aggro deck with him. Daretti is really the best choice, but unfortunately even that is somewhat lackluster, as having a planeswalker as my commander means I won't be killing people with the commander damage rule, and on top of that it draws a lot of hate.

So basically I decided maybe I'll just finally give up and use Arcum Dagsson, or Muzzio, Visionary Architect, but I just thought those decks would be too straight forward and too predictable, which is why I avoided them in the first place.

So then I decided, what the hell, why not? I'll just use both Red and Blue. Of course, there aren't really any commanders with any affinity for artifacts in this color combo, so I ended up just using a generic red/blue commander just for the colors. I decided that Nin might work best in this regard, but frankly that could change. The commander isn't super important in this deck.
