went 2-3 last night, was happy with how it went. Taking a suggestion from duve86 and another player last night to swap out Last Thoughts since i was taking it out for the sideboard EVERY game. replacing it with Nivmagus Elemental. So now, the cipher spells will still go onto the unblockables, ciphers are triggered when unblockables do damage, ciphers trigger Guttersnipe and/or Young Pyromancer's abilities when cast. while cipher copies are on the stack, will (can) sacrifice to beef up the Nivmagus Elemental.

thinking i should be trying to sideboard another counter spell?

Still wouldn't mind trying to swap 1 Guttersnipe for a Staff of the Mind Magus
