This is a sel-mill deck, where the main idea is to kill with hasty Crackling Drake combined withEscape Velocity, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or even Phoenix of Ash.
Only 2 Escape Velocity over Maximize Velocity, because, even if it doesnt fill up your graveyard with instants and or sorcerys for The Magic Mirror, and costs 1 more, it is possible to cast it several times. Also, we dont mind exiling because Crackling Drake does not care. I think it is way better here than the usual combo with Saheeli, Sublime Artificer.
Only one Phoenix of Ash needed, and if it ends up exiled, it is not the end of the world.
It has a lot of early instants to fill up the graveyard and cycle the deck, search for land drops so we drop an early The Magic Mirror. T3 is not possible, but maybe T4 or T5.
Usually self-mill is kinda risky, as you may put your wincon into the graveyard. That's why you need some tools like Underworld Breach, and a lot of mana to get it back. The only issue is counterspell for jace, discard, or instant removal, so timing is key. Here you cycle a lot, so you dont really need drowned secret, which is really slow, and does not provides a lot of value, at least early on.
I dont know if 4 Temple are needed, maybe Fabbled passage is better for fixing Crackling Drake.
It also is budget, with only 2 rares and 2 mythics, even if wasting wildcards on The Magic Mirror is probably not a good idea.
